D.O.B. - 21/12/48

I was born into an artistic family. My father, Clyde Herrington, was a very talented painter who kept company with members of The Group of Seven.

In 1958, he exhanged his paintbrush for a camera and never looked back. He created 3 magazines "Beautiful British Columbia", "Industrial British Columbia" and "Northwest Territories" magazines. He was the founding editor and main, contributing photographer.

There were always art supplies in our house and I spent my childhood drawing, painting and assisting my father with his photography.

I spent my working life as a finishing carpenter and master decorator, but I always maintained a fine arts studio and have always painted.

After many years and much effort, I feel that I have a body of work and have developed an original style that is ready to be viewed by the public. Growing up with four sisters, my work reflects a great admiration and respect for the female form in all of its glory.

I hope you enjoy these works as much as I did, creating them.
